Something is cooking...

I'm not really crazy about cooking, I cook when I have to eat and that's it. My cooking is more metaphorical, it means I "stir" something. 😁

These days it's this combination of colors that doesn't give me peace because it's perfect, right? What will happen in the end, we'll see. You never know what might come to my mind a moment before sleep because those are critical moments when the creative brain is working hard. I don't know if it's the same for you, but I "created" most of my works before bed. Is it the same for you? Admittedly, it's my method of falling asleep and driving away bad thoughts.

 It works great.

I decided to visualize my knitting

I decided to visualize my knitting over the past few years by putting everything on hangers and counting it. I'm amazed! So much time and yarns invested. It could easily fill a boutique. There are over 50 pieces! Each of these 50 is unique, no item is repeated.

I would be happiest if I could sell it all to a shop that values and sells handmade and unique items. Do you know of such a shop anywhere in Europe or the world?

P.S.

I'm starting a new project today!

In the meantime, you can see many of these works from the painting here-FedRaDD

The autumn story begins...

The autumn story is starting, even though I'm still going to the sea, sunbathing and swimming. Maybe the cold will come this week. That's a lot earlier than in previous years when we were swimming until mid-November.
Regardless, the feeling of autumn is here, the chestnuts have fallen to the ground and I've "entered the autumn colors"
I have some ideas with this burgundy and brownish yarn but I'll leave that for a new post, soon. Stay healthy!

Knitting pose !

Unfortunately, summer is leaving, You can feel it in the morning and evening. In the middle of the day you can still go sunbathing and swimming.

The sea is beautiful but you can feel that autumn is coming. I have to be patient until next spring.

I don't like winter.

Ecru yarn in an attempt at a wrap sweater! We'll see what comes out of it. For now, the idea is in my head.

Knitting pose !! 😀😉

Do you know what color "resedo" is?

 💚

Too hot to knit! August is very hot here on the Adriatic, as you know if you've ever been here. For several days, the heat is unbearable and you don't feel like doing anything, let alone warm wool on your lap! It rained three days ago and I immediately started knitting, inspired by this wonderful pale green mohair that my mom would call "rezedo" color. It will be an airy, loose sweater. The color is truly beautiful.

Enjoy the summer!

Another circular knitting model but now in a beautiful summer sand color. Of course 100% extraordinary softness and comfort on the body. Dropped shoulders are the sexiest look for summer, right? The small satin bow can be untied and moved wherever you want. Simply, the ideal piece for summer!

As always, you can find it in my Etsy shop or here in the comments if you want favorable conditions. Enjoy the summer!

I'm completely ok!

 Hi !

My favorite is my standard model - knitting in the round! You do everything in one piece and there is no cutting of the wool, just joining. I hate cutting wool. Each cut means the possibility of joining and is made of knots, and that drives me crazy. I don't like the knots on the inside of the sweater. Of course. I know all possible ways to join threads but ... it's still cutting, right?

So circular knitting is a real pleasure for me. Is it obsessive compulsive disorder, but besides some other things I don't like, otherwise I'm completely ok!  😄😁😀

As usual you can find me on Etsy in my shop FedRaDD .

Surprise!

I finally decided to try out the metallic thread that I got a few months ago but had no inspiration. So the thread waited and waited until today when I suddenly had a burst of inspiration and crocheted a rose-shaped ring. The thread is great and not difficult to crochet. I used a 1.25 crochet hook, which is very thin for me. I hope the inspiration will last.

Should I knit the sleeves?

What do you think - Should I add sleeves? The dark blue and burgundy silk thread is beautiful but very difficult to knit and crochet. The burgundy thread has very small sequins and is difficult to pull through the loop. If you miss a loop, you have a problem! As you can see I made a fluffy top, I even added a necklace with flowers but I'm still thinking about the sleeves. It would be easy to add them. My ideas are like a tsunami, you never know what will come to my mind.

Irreplaceable wrap !

Of all the ways of fastening knitwear, my favorite is the wrap!

It is so simple, effective and practical. You can use a button, a ribbon or maybe a brooch, everything is great and serves the purpose in a simple way. I used a large button on this splashed black and white sweater that I got from a wonderful lady in Slovenia. Such large buttons are hard to find and I am happy that I got them from a person who dedicated himself to making them. This is the link https://www.facebook.com/dolejsi.si

Kaja yarn is also Slovenian from Majšperk and is wonderful to work with because the knitting goes very quickly. This is an asymmetric sweater model, unlike similar ones I've made before. It is interesting how the symmetry is reflected not only on the bottom but also on the appearance of the large collar, which I normally adore.

Pleasant beige

I live on the Adriatic coast, where winters don't last long and we welcome spring joyfully already in February. The trees have already budded and if the sun shines, we will have bunches already in the middle of next month.

Anyway, I knitted the last winter sweater in a nice cream color with a cheerful mix of stitches.

This winter, white or cream white was a must have. After several years of the dictates of black, it was a real refreshment. I hope that the

pleasant beige will remain next winter.

Brain sweater

Winter should be fought with pastel warm colors. So I set out to make a top with an interestingly designed front that irresistibly reminds me of a brain. It may not be romantic, but the association is great, isn't it? Now I'm thinking about a skirt that would go great with this piece and I've already started it! You can find the top on my Etsy shop as well as all other items.

Unfortunately, autumn

Another hot summer is over, autumn begins and brings its colors. Yesterday I said goodbye to the sea with a pleasant last sunbathing. I'm a summer girl and it's hard for me to switch to rainy gray days and gloomy black clouds. But there is no stopping, let's move on!

These are two black sweaters, one is from before and the other is new. Black is always elegant, especially in combination with white, a t-shirt or shirt underneath. Both sweaters are unique and you can find them in my Etsy shop.
