Bell shaped sweater with a pleats

 As I said in the previous post, I knitted a new sweater with three large folds. It looks much better now because this way the bell effect I originally wanted is much nicer. This is the ICE yarn, mohair + Tencel I've been looking for for a long time. Tencel gives a wonderful softness to the knit and comfort when worn. Black is hard to show in photos but it is really beautiful and deep black. I don’t like when black has a brown tone or reddish. Black must be absolutely black, like night. So, I added a few details at the top, small tulle bows and a satin ribbon to tie to give this piece my personal touch. I think it’s perfect now and deserves to be on display at my Etsy shop.

More horizontal pleats !

 I recently made this sleeveless sweater but I scalded it. I was not happy with the width of the fold because I want to make only three pleats but one wider. That idea is ongoing, the outcome will follow soon. 👍And yes, there will be no white part around the neck. I think everything will be black. We'll see!

How to knit Horizontal pleats ? Easy!

 

  

I knitted this sweater / top from the bottom up with two interesting stitches. The lower part is knitted with round needles and Fisherman rib stitch.
