Colour of the year !

 Pantone has announced its color of the year for 2026, and it is white.

Ok, I knew that last year when I organized my winter wardrobe in that color. It's a really nice winter color and goes great with brown, green, and burgundy. It also goes great with suede boots that I never wore before and are now my favorite! Of course, I also bought a lot of wool in that white color. It's not hospital white, but that warm ivory white.

Today I finished a wrap, which I love because of the fold that beautifully shapes the waist, even when you don't have one! 😉With wooden and cork buttons, I achieved the effect I wanted.

Irreplaceable wrap !

 Of all the ways of fastening knitwear, my favorite is the wrap!

It is so simple, effective and practical. You can use a button, a ribbon or maybe a brooch, everything is great and serves the purpose in a simple way. I used a large button on this splashed black and white sweater that I got from a wonderful lady in Slovenia. Kaja yarn is also Slovenian from Majšperk and is wonderful to work with because the knitting goes very quickly. This is an asymmetric sweater model, unlike similar ones I've made before. It is interesting how the symmetry is reflected not only on the bottom but also on the appearance of the large collar, which I normally adore.

Pale pink sweater

 I got this beautiful pastel pink slightly thicker wool and I was looking forward to a new project. I usually make this design as a custom order and mostly in gray, but now I decided to make it in this new pale pink. When I realized that I wouldn't have enough wool, I went crazy, but I was saved by the rest of the gray, which I wisely saved, so that the whole sweater got an even more interesting look. Anyway, I have to get another 600 grams (not 500g) of pastel pink.

crazy about knitting

 These days I’m really crazy about knitting! Maybe it’s just this time of year, I hope. I just finished a new white sweater. Pom poms came to my mind last night when I was falling asleep thinking and creating. The night is the best for that, anything can come to your mind.
